aHhHHh i'M back fr0m BWM caMp! :) wAd can i say..it was GREAT. haa. really. g0t t0 d0 sUm crazy tinks tt i've nv d0ne b4 in my life. except f0r the bites! i realized sandflies are much more worse than m0squit0es -.-" n0w my hands n arms n ankles r all swollen. ITCHY!! can't st0p scratching omg. s0meoNe tie my hands up!! =X

dAy 1

our very 1st aCtivity was the blindfolded walk t0 peak 0f pulau ubin..it was quite funny c0s we we passing d0wn weird instructi0ns n oUching here n there c0s sum unkn0wn object hit our heads. lol. bUt we did quite well lahh..reached the t0p in abt 18mins. g0sh the scenery up there is s0 nice..super rare in ubin lol. nxt time g0 ubin must go there lia0z(but dun tink i wud be g0ing there in near future waha). t0ok ph0t0s n did cheers up there. whEe~

s0l0 night was..hMm..great experience haha. actually bef0re the camp already heard we wud be slping al0ne in the f0rest le..bUt was still abit freaked out when seni0rs were briefing us. but it turned out t0 be less scary than i expected c0s i still can see wad ppl ar0und mi were d0ing. lol. n the seni0rs were walking ar0und mah. g0t such great sense 0f achievement after building my own basha. hehe. den t0ok quite sum time t0 set up the fire..c0s it turned out tt Ketam's lighters were all faulty n mine even caught fire haa. in the end b0bian hafta use s0lid fuel. den c0oked sum rice..haha 1st time i use mess tin c0ok rice leh! it was 1/2 c0oked but edible lahh. lol. wr0te j0urnal n TRIED to slp. but the m0squit0es kept buzzing in my ears n kept getting bitten..so slept for lyke..2 hrs? caN't realli rem. oh n we had t0 fall in in the middle of the nite. lucky i was awake at tt time l0r.

P.S. the wild is our t0ilet. haha.

dAy 2

had orienteering f0r the entire day. 1st leg was cycling..haha our grp did great..din get l0st or wad..den on our way to the last stop terence suddenly g0t leg cramps..oh man the cramps were realli bad..we cud see the huge dent n lump on his thighs. but we all siao one all started lafing away. lol. came in 3rd! not bad not bad.

2nd leg was on f0ot..haha everyone was super shagged s0 we walked quite sl0wly. oh n it rained! we were s0 happy wahaha den went t0 rest at the hut f0r abt 1 hr while waiting f0r the rain 2 st0p. sakra was there t0o. we c0mpleted abt 10 stati0ns which was not bad for our walking speed haha..but sum clues were washed away s0 we anyh0w filled up the paper wif smiley faces n crap symbols. lol. oh n we bought c0c0nut! but din get to eat it s0 sad. haa.

dinner was outd0or c0oking. haha it went rather sm0othly f0r our grp la..c0s we g0t khant2 n fuwei! haha they were gd wif the fire..while mi n bernie happily prepared n c0oked the f0od. lol. we used too much h0ney! *oOps* wahh our grilled chicken was damn nice..budden din realli haf time to finish it.

after dat was s0l0 walk..ch0k was trying t0 scare us during the briefing l0r. budden mi khant2 n huilin fell aslp haha. the walk was okay lahh..abit scary c0s cudn't see anytink even wif the lightstick..den g0t stuck at the 1st f0rest f0r sum time..in the end bumped into khant2 n qiyang n went d0wn t0gether. haa. anywae had t0 st0p the s0l0 walk when i reached kenny's stati0n c0s cassandra went missing. s0 went back t0 the hut n applied mor mopiko. n dunn0 hu was g0ing ar0und saying i was injured lol. aiy0. they sent search teams to l0ok f0r cass while we built bashas n went to slp. khant2 mi bernie n karla shared one basha..we slept quite well la..but mi n bernie's eyelids were bitten lol. karla's face l0ok bruised. haha. we ended up lafing at each other. s0 lame.

dAy 3

had m0rning PT..den learnt abt animal traps. lol it was damn sadistic lo. wad strangle the rabbit..knock it unconsci0us..hang it upside d0wn. lol. den each grp hafta build the weap0ns n c0me up wif our own traps..we were quite cheat haha. had c0mpetiti0n f0r the weap0ns part..my aiming quite l0usy lahh.

den we packed up n LEFT PULAU UBIN! WHOO!~ haha suddenly everyone was s0 energetic lol..we cheered n sang on the way to jetty haa. had a great lunch at Changi n went back NJ. mi n khant2 were the onli ones n0t slping on the bus j0urney lol..c0s we were chatting. xianlun n desm0nd oso. den we ended up lafing at the ppl slping. went back NJ, had a great bath(wahhh..nv bathe f0r 2 days lehhh) n had debrief at amphi. i was the guinea pig f0r 2 t0ilets l0r..1st one mi n khant2 went t0 n0 water..den the 2nd one i tried to test for the water n it ended up splashing on mi n the bag -.-" tupid khant2 kept lafing at mi. washed mess tins n had debrief.

den campfire! haha they used fireball..juz lyke BP! yayyy. reminded mi of the Area 20 campfire we hafta organise last yr. :) haha we sang s0ngs..presented grp perf0rmance(ours was super impr0mptu haha)..frenship dance..prize presentati0ns :) aww it was fun..but abit t0o sh0rt. we were all quite high lo. btw we g0t 2nd! (c0s there was a tie between 2 grps f0r 1st lol) =P Ketam r0x! *kiAp kiAp*

went KAP to eat wif karla yingkang benjamin yiyong simon..ended up listening t0 sum *uHem* c0mplaints haha..haiy0..i suddenly feel so f0rtunate haa. left KAP when it was cl0sing n went h0me wif karla..haha i was s0 tired i fell aslp while she was telling mi tinks..lol..paiseh..alm0st ended up in the interchange lyke sc haha.

oh maN. bEen s0 bUsy lately i realized i din c0me here t0 bl0g f0r a l0ng tiMe. i'Ve g0t s0 s0 s0 s0 s0 maNy tHings t0 update x_X yUp..aNywAe i sUrvived eLeCts' caMp!! wHeE!! it felt lyke an UG-fied OAC caMp. haa. wE saw the ugly, the heartwarming, blah blah blah. yeah i'm n0t g0nna t0k abt the wh0le caMp here..if n0t dunn0 h0w l0ng tt wUd take. lol. but i'll nV eVer 4get it..eSp the bLindf0lded gaMe and the hiKe. it was a test 0f our meNtal strength..we made the impossible possible. it was t0ugh, but fUn at certain times. sAdly it din end off well f0r mi..c0s we were inf0rmed abt the swapping of classes(house) between Solaris n Lignum. and my class had to be one of them. wHy? wHy us? i n0e as a c0uncill0r, i hafta l0ok at the big picture. but y can't u all discuss wif us bef0re making tis cruel decision? and they hafta ch0ose the 2 classes tt r m0st attached to Solaris. great. in the 1st place, i j0ined c0uncil wif the h0pe of getting into Solaris HAT. n n0w everytink's g0ne. it was n0t until tis tt i realized h0w b0nded the Solaris councillors are(mi shawn avalene karla simon) n h0w attached we r t0 the h0use. i cant believe i actually 4g0rt t0 bring my entire file h0me afetr the camp. juz bc0s of tis. argh so dumb. tried t0king t0 dc but n0 use..in the end cudn't help it n br0ke d0wn. anywae, thx avalene shawn n karla for standing by my side. thx guys. we'll alwiz be one. =)

yUp on an0ther n0te we had c0uncil exc0 electi0ns juz n0w..lasted f0r abt 5 hrs. sum were expected, sum were n0t. bUt anywae jUz h0pe tt everyone wud w0rk well t0gether. 74 as one. haa. felt tt cud haf m0r ch0ices for certain posts when v0ting. n i'm s0 pr0ud 0f shawn! haha u made it! dUn let Solaris down okay! =) n karla had t0 make mi cry again. haiz. why can't we be given the chance to work together. n we saw celeste crying after dat. it d0esn't benefit any side at all. not lignum not solaris. everyone's upset abt it. it makes mi p0nder, do they actually even n0e wad's Leadership wif Sensitivity when making tis decision. wad's the pt of tinking it's for the benefit of everyone when it's making everyone upset instead. it's not helping one bit. i'm s0rry for saying all these but..argh. CAN'T WE DO STH TO CHANGE THE SITUATION? where's all the flexibility tt i've been hearing. are they juz a pack of stupid lies?

i shall not give up..i shall keep trying. if there's realli nth tt can be d0ne, guess we'll juz hafta accept it. perhaps we'll grow to lyke Lignum too! i'm being optimistic..haa. the passion tt burns? i hope it's still there.
